What PCT is, what it is not, and why the network is private.
Private Car Trade (PCT) is a private B2B network for the European car trade. Checked dealers, brokers, wholesalers, fleet operators and transporters list cars, post the cars they need and contact each other directly. There are no auctions and no commission: one membership, paid only after the company is approved.
No. PCT connects automotive professionals. Members negotiate and complete their transactions directly with each other.
To keep professional stock, prices and business conversations within the member network.
Who can apply, what the application asks for, and how your company is checked before you pay.
Businesses in the European car trade: dealers, brokers, wholesalers, fleet operators and transporters. PCT is for companies only, not for private buyers or sellers.
A business email address, a phone number, your company name and country, and your VAT or company registration number. A website helps, but it is optional.
Every application is reviewed by the PCT team. We verify your business registration, and your VAT details where applicable (an EU VAT number in the VIES register). If something is missing, we email you to tell you what. It happens before you pay.
Yes. Pick every type that fits when you apply, for example Dealer and Transporter. They show on your profile, and you can change them later in Settings.
Yes. Choose Transporter when you apply. You see the transport requests of members across Europe, get a notification when a new one is posted, and agree each job directly with the member. The membership is the same for every business type.
Yes, if your company trades vehicles in Europe, in the EU or outside it. Every application is reviewed before approval: a company without an EU VAT number is checked against its business registration.
Yes. Buying and sourcing are part of the network. Whether you can join depends on your professional activity, not on how much you sell.
When you pay, what one membership includes, invoices, inviting others, and how cancelling, switching and VAT work.
Only after your company is approved. Then you choose monthly or yearly and pay by card through Stripe. Nothing is charged before then.
No additional platform fees. One membership includes unlimited listings and requests: no listing fees, request fees or transaction commissions.
Yes. An invoice is issued for every successful membership payment, made out to your company's billing details.
Yes, any time, from your profile. Your membership then runs to the end of the period you paid for, and you keep full access until then.
They leave the network at once, with your requests and your profile, and nothing is deleted. When you come back, they wait for you to confirm them, so no old stock shows by itself: put each car back with one click and open each request again. Sold cars stay in your history.
We email you, and you keep your access for 72 hours while you update your card. If the payment has still not been made by then, your access pauses until it is. Nothing is deleted.
Yes. The switch happens at your next renewal, so you never pay twice for the same time.
The prices shown exclude VAT, and VAT may apply. Whether it does depends on your country and your VAT number, and you see the final amount before you pay.
Yes. Every member has a personal invite link on their Home page. The business you invite applies as usual and is reviewed by the team. Once it is approved and pays for the first time, you get one month free: your next payment is pushed back by a month.
Listing and finding cars, changing your details, wrong car details, contacting members, selling in bulk, marking a car as sold, and reviews.
No. PCT is a private network for the trade. Nothing is listed publicly, and PCT takes no part in your deals: you agree on the price, the payment and the transport directly with the other business.
No. There is no bidding and no auction. You agree the price directly with the other business, and PCT takes no commission.
Every car has a button that opens WhatsApp with the seller, with the car and a link to it already written in the message. Every member's profile also has their email address.
Yes. To sell, upload up to 200 cars at once from an Excel or CSV file: each car becomes its own listing, and rows that need a fix can wait as drafts. To buy, post a car request and write how many you need under Other requirements.
Yes. Your city, languages, business types, how you trade, what you specialise in, About the company, your logo, phone, website and social pages are yours to change any time in Settings. The company name and VAT number were checked by the team: to change those, write to the PCT team.
Every member is responsible for what they publish: the details, photos and price of a car must be true. If something is wrong, use the Report button on the car, the request or the member. The PCT team looks at every report and can take the listing down, or suspend or remove the member. PCT does not inspect cars, so check every car before you buy.
You can send the link, for example on WhatsApp, but only members can open it. Anyone else is asked to sign in, and the link preview shows the PCT name, never the car.
No. PCT holds no money and takes no part in your deals: you agree on the price, the payment and the transport directly with the other business. To get cars moved, post a transport request and the transporters in the network answer.
When a car is sold to a member, or a request is fulfilled by one, the other side is asked to confirm it. Then both can review each other on communication, reliability and value, and every review shows who wrote it.
It leaves the network's available listings and stays in your own vehicle history, under Sold. If you named the member who bought it, they are asked to confirm, and you can review each other.
Who sees what you share, what PCT checks, and what happens when a member does something wrong.
Only members whose company is verified and whose membership is active. Nothing is public, and search engines cannot see it.
No. We review every company before it joins: its business registration, and its VAT details where applicable. That is no guarantee of a car's condition, a member's solvency or a deal: check every car and use your usual paperwork, as you would with any trader.
Every car, request and member has a Report button. The PCT team looks at every report and can take content down, or suspend or remove a member.
How to reach the PCT team, and where the answer arrives.
No. Applications go through Join the network, so the team gets everything it needs to check your company.
At the email address you enter in the form.
Choose Report a listing or member as the topic and include the link to the listing or profile. Members can also use the Report button on every vehicle, request and profile.
Write to us, and the team answers by email. Or apply now: you pay only once your company is approved.
